Shari Thurow writes a great overview of how search works and SEO techniques. Solid and easy to understand information on keywords, robots, markup, and most importantly good copy.
The Design of Everyday Things
A seminal writing from Don Norman back in the 80's about how design influences use, and the psychology of the person wanting to use it.
Web Redesign 2.0
A must read for any web project manager out there. Details of a comprehensive process and tons of tools make this book more valuable than your average PM fare.
